Amphitheatrum Flavium (The Colosseum)
The Colosseum, we spent the better part of a day there, milling about. I could’ve stayed longer.
Here’s a fun tip, when changing between lenses, make sure the one on the camera is focusing properly…

Beautiful! How lucky that you had that lovely blue sky as a backdrop, too!
Thanks Jenn, we were really lucky with the weather!
Wow, gorgeous photos!
Cheers!
Really nice photos there!
Cheers!
Gorgeous photos, beautiful sky! The sky was a bit grey when I visited..
Thanks Andrea, we got really lucky with the weather.
Gorgeous! Stunning photographs.
Thanks!
I’m going there in April, hope to get as good weather as you seem to have. What camera/lens did you use?
Thank you for the inspiration.
Thanks Mr P. I used 3 lenses here, Sigma’s 10-20 and 17-50 and a Canon 70-300.
I’ll mainly rely on my kit lens I guess. No tripod as well, so nothing to fancy.
Spectacular! Expert use of a fine instrument. Love your eye & framing.
Looks like a fascinating place, thanks for sharing.
Fabulous! Thanks for your visit.
